Don't Get Caught Without a Shot!

Protect your patients by getting your flu shot now!

Nearly 60 percent of all health care workers do not get a flu shot. But as healthcare professionals, it is extremely important for you to get your flu vaccination so that you don't pass the flu on to your patients, many of whom could be at higher risk of developing complications from influenza.

During National Influenza Vaccination Week (December 8-14), the ASHP Foundation and ASHP will offer free flu shots to attendees at the 2008 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting. If you are attending the Midyear, please visit the ASHP Foundation-ASHP Flu Shot Center in the Orange County Convention Center to get your free flu shot. The first 5,000 individuals to visit the center will receive vaccinations.

Cost - Free!
The flu shots are free! ASHP and the ASHP Foundation are offering this vaccination opportunity as a first line of defense for health care professionals against seasonal influenza. However, if you appreciate this service, please consider making a donation to the ASHP Foundation. An ASHP Foundation staff member will be at the Center to accept contributions.

The Flu Shot Center will continue operating as long as vaccination supplies last.
