Literature Awards Nomination Process

ASHP members and affiliated state societies may nominate candidates for awards. In addition authors may nominate themselves. A publication by a member of the Selection Panel may be considered, but the panel member may not serve on the Selection Panel for the Award for which they are nominated. Publications may be nominated for consideration under only one award category. Nominators should submit 10 (1 original plus 9 copies) copies each of the following items (please note that only required application materials will be forwarded to the selection panel):

1. Completed Literature Awards Program Nomination Form specifying the category in which the nomination is intended to be judged. The nomination form includes biographical information along with a statement describing the significance of the body of work and/or a description of the importance of the pharmacist(s) or student author's role in the article.
2. The nominated article. In the case of the Award for Sustained Contributions, 10 of the candidate's best contributions to the literature.
3. Candidate's curriculum vitae, including a bibliography citing all the publications of the nominee. In the case of multiple authorship, please see specific award category for requirements.

All copies of nominated materials must be received by the ASHP Foundation by June 2nd and sent to:
