In March 2011, the ASHP Foundation conducted a radio media tour featuring Nicole Pilch, Pharm.D., a clinical specialist from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. MUSC was the 2010 recipient of the Award for Excellence in Medication-Use Safety. Dr. Pilch spoke about patients with chronic disease and medication safety.
