Dawn Moore-Jefferson, Pharm.D., serves as Director of Pharmacy at Indiana University Hospital – Clarian Health System. Dr. Moore-Jefferson is a graduate of Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy where she received her PharmD degree. Upon completion of Pharmacy School, she attended the two-year Pharmacy Administration Residency/ Masters Program at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. She was then employed as an Assistant Director of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in which she spent six years. During her tenure at the University of Iowa, she served as Director of Pharmacy for two years at Ottumwa Regional Medical Center. Dr. Moore-Jefferson has been in her current position for approximately three years in which a portion of this time she was appointed as Interim Executive Director of Pharmacy for the Downtown Clarian Hospitals.
Dr. Moore-Jefferson is an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy with Purdue University and a member of the Indiana Pharmacists Alliance. She also participates on the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education On-Site Evaluation Teams. This is Dr. Moore-Jefferson's second year as an Associate Faculty member for the Pharmacy Leadership Academy.
