At the conclusion of the Web Presentation the participant will:
1. Define why listening is key to a leaders effective communication.
2. Describe a coach’s mindset in developing employees.
3. Identify what needs to be completed before a new employee’s first day.
At the conclusion of the Case Study/Teleconference the participant will:
1. Evaluate and improve active listening and communication skills as they apply to being effective with people.
2. Describe climate/culture and demonstrate how to achieve engagement and commitment.
3. Define and describe coaching tactics for developing and retaining staff.
4. Identify and analyze how to select, employ and train the right new people for the team.
5. Describe and plan the application of crucial conversations to achieving performance agreements, and when necessary, progressive discipline.
