Generali, M.S., FASHP, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Kansas School
of Pharmacy and Senior Clinical Manager for In-depth Content at Wolters Kluwer. Prior to this, she was the director of the Drug
Information Center at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy for over 25 years.
Joyce has been involved with PGY1 and PGY2 residency training for her entire
career and was director of the University of Kansas Drug Information Residency
Program for approximately 20 years.
has stayed active in the publishing and editorial practices of pharmacy by
sitting on several editorial boards, serving as Editor-in-Chief of Hospital Pharmacy, and mentoring
numerous pharmacists and residents regarding publication and research
endeavors. She has received professional
recognition as the inaugural recipient of the Distinguished Drug Information Practitioner from ACCP DI Group, as
well as Distinguished Alumni Recognition from the University of Connecticut and
recipient of the Harold N Godwin Leadership Legacy Award. Her off-label use work has been recognized in
top reference books by the New York Public Library System and the American
Academy of Medical Writers.
