ASHP Foundation Releases 2019 Pharmacy Forecast Report to Enhance Strategic Planning
The ASHP Foundation has released its annual trends report for 2019, Pharmacy Forecast 2019: Strategic Planning Advice for Pharmacy Departments in Hospitals and Health Systems.
Pharmacy Forecast 2019 addresses important developments that are likely to challenge pharmacists over the next five years. The report features insights from author teams of healthcare leaders.
“In response to the uncertainties surrounding healthcare over the past several years, health-system pharmacy leaders must be deliberate in their strategic planning efforts to ensure their organization’s success,” said Pharmacy Forecast Editor Lee Vermeulen. “The Pharmacy Forecast provides health-system pharmacy leaders a tool to help with those efforts. It provokes creative and innovative thinking around emerging trends to spark discussions that are essential to successful strategic planning efforts.”
