Literature Awards

Accepting Applications

For over 50 years, the ASHP Foundation’s Literature Awards have honored pharmacists who have advanced pharmacy practice by contributing to biomedical literature. Recognizing such excellence inspires research and innovation, ultimately improving patient care.

We are now accepting applications. If you are interested in applying, register for our How to Apply Webinar on April 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. ET.

If you know of someone whose research should be recognized, please fill out this nomination form by May 1.

This program consists of six categories:

Sustained Contributions

Recognizes a pharmacist with a 20-year record of publishing high-quality and impactful peer-reviewed biomedical literature.

Drug Therapy Research

Awarded to articles on research that addresses the therapeutic uses of medications.

Innovation in Pharmacy Practice

Recognizes an article that describes an innovation on pharmacy practice.

Pharmacy Practice Research

Recognizes an article related to pharmacy practice in hospitals and health systems.

Resident Research

Recognizes a published research paper by a pharmacy resident.

Student Research

Recognizes a published research paper by a pharmacy student.
