Deborah Sanchez

Debbie Sanchez is the director of pharmacy practice and residency at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. She has been with Asante since 2002.  She holds Adjust Clinical Faculty status with Pacific University.  She has held Adjunct Clinical Faculty positions with the University of Florida, Mercer, Auburn, University of Georgia, and Oregon Health and Sciences University.

Debbie earned her doctorate of pharmacy from University of Wyoming, College of Pharmacy.  She completed her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Simmons College and ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Academy in 2015. She completed two years of clinical residency training at Columbus Regional in Columbus Georgia under Burnis Breland’s direction.

Debbie serves as the Treasurer for the Western States Conference for Residents, Fellows, and Preceptors. She has served as the Southern Chapter Chair and board member of the Oregon Society of Health-system Pharmacists.  She serves as invited faculty on the ASHP Foundation’s Pharmacy Leadership Academy.  The ASHP honored Debbie and the Asante team with the Best Practices Award in Health-system Pharmacy in 2014.

Debbie and her husband Frank, live in Medford.  They are locally active in the Children’s Miracle Network fundraising events, ALS Association, Southern Oregon Music Festival, and Arthritis Foundation.
