The Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award is one of the most prestigious awards within the profession of health-system pharmacy. Each year, the ASHP Foundation has offered a compilation of all lectures (in either book or CD-ROM format) from 1950 through the present day to residents participating in ASHP-accredited residency programs.

In 2008, the ASHP Foundation made the Whitney Award Lectures available on the Web. The Whitney Award Lectures Web site provides access to 59 lectures that can be browsed by title, author, or publication date. Each lecture has a Web page with the awardee’s biography, photograph, the lecture and a PDF version that can be downloaded. The site is searchable by keyword as well. In addition, the Foundation is developing a video collection that contains brief video clips of past awardees.
