The Pharmacy Technician Education and Training Program Achievement Award honors one ASHP/ACPE-accredited pharmacy technician education and training program that demonstrates innovative methods for educating, training, and providing optimal opportunities for developing pharmacy technicians.
Supported by donations to the ASHP Foundation Pharmacy Technician Fund, the awarded program receives:
- Up to $1,500 to support travel to the ASHP 2026 Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida, to be used by the technician education and training program director (TPD) and/or individual that the TPD reports to in the organization or faculty member
- One (1) complimentary registration for the awarded program’s TPD to the 2026 Midyear Meeting
- One (1) plaque
- Recognition at the 2026 Midyear Meeting and through other ASHP and ASHP Foundation channels
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- The pharmacy technician education and training program has been in existence for at least 4 years
- The program has received a full-cycle ASHP/ACPE-accreditation in their most recent survey
- The sponsoring organization is eligible to receive the award once every 10 years
