Optimizing Technology Solutions Innovation Grant

Created in partnership with the ASHP Innovation Center and supported by a generous donation from Omnicell to the ASHP Foundation.
With the launch of the ASHP Innovation Center, the ASHP Foundation is offering a competitive grant program to support projects that demonstrate the impact of optimizing health information technology and digital transformation that enhance safe and effective use of medications. The grant program is available for interprofessional healthcare teams with a pharmacist as a principal investigator.
Priority will be given to demonstration projects in health services delivery that are innovations and measure outcomes, including:
- Enhanced efficiency and effectiveness of care
- Improved outcomes for patients, clinicians, and organizations
Funding & Grant Period
- The grant period of activity will begin upon notice of grant award by the ASHP Foundation and will expire based upon the proposed project timeline and a maximum of 18 months after the initial notification.
- The amount of grant funding awarded will depend on the proposed grant period. The minimum amount that will be awarded is $5,000 with a maximum amount of $30,000 (see example below).
