Tom Lodise Receives ASHP Foundation 2025 Literature Award for Sustained Contributions
The ASHP Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2025 Literature Awards, partially supported by Samson Medical Technologies and Medi-Dose. The awards recognize pharmacists who have made significant contributions to biomedical literature.
Award for Sustained Contributions
Thomas P. Lodise, PharmD, PhD, is Professor at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) and an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, New York.
With over 23 years of experience in infectious diseases (ID) clinical care and research, Lodise's work integrates pharmacometrics, outcomes research, and epidemiology to enhance care for patients with antimicrobial resistance (AMR) infections.
Lodise has authored more than 250 peer-reviewed articles and currently serves as PK Scientific Lead for the NIH-funded Antibacterial Resistance Leadership Group (ARLG) and is a member of the Executive Committee for the United States Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (USCAST). In addition, he is the Scientific Editor for the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy and Pharmacotherapy and serves on several journal editorial boards.
