The New Professionals Visionary Society includes residents and new practitioner pharmacists (5 or less years in practice) on an annual basis, no matter the amount of the donation. We want to recognize the meaningful commitment you’re making early in your career to support the important philanthropic work of the ASHP Foundation to advance pharmacy practice, improve patient care, and enhance medication safety.

- Directly addressing the shortage of pharmacy residency positions by providing more than $3.5 million in match funding to establish 102 new residency positions through the Residency Expansion Grant Program since 2011
- Awarding up to 8 Pharmacy Resident Research Grants of $5,000 each year, to advance pharmacy practice and develop researcher skills
- Supporting new practitioner leadership development research by awarding over $70,000 in research funding since 2019 (or) Awarding over $70,000 New Practitioner Pharmacists Leadership Development Grants since 2019
